Satisfaction, competence and service – these are the driving factors and the standards we set in all we do at Hof Brüning: whether breeding or training our own as well as the horses boarded with us or our dealings with customers from all parts of the world. Our farm, which is located about 30 kilometers from Verden, is located right in the middle of the Hanoverian breeding area. Spread over 170 hectares today, it has been in the family for more than 500 years and is truly a showpiece operation that demonstrates the successful symbiosis between tradition and innovation.
Enthusiasm for horses is shared by every member of the Brüning family. Hans-Heinrich Brüning, a breeder, rider and show judge, inherited his feeling for horses from his father, Hannes, who also rode and was a judge. His wife, Adelheid, and daughter, Juliane, are just as passionate as he is but have channeled their passion into taking care of guests at Forsthaus Heiligenberg, a hotel and restaurant also owned by the Brüning family. Son Hannes, who won the German Championship competition for Young Breeders three times, is meanwhile part-owner of the farm and has established himself among Hanover's top horse breeders with a foal breeding operation called Fohlenhof Brüning.
